Prior to joining BigSpeak, Barrett attended the University of Southern California and Leonardo da Vinci School in Florence, Italy, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Barrett draws on previous professional experience in the Internet space as an Account Representative for Commission Junction (a Conversant company), from the hotel/resort industry as a manager for the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara and from the non-profit sector as a volunteer and Board Appointments.

Past and current clients include: Google, Nike, YMCA, SAS, Chevron, American Airlines, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Rack Space, BlackRock, Ford, UHC, Siemens, Northern Trust, John Deere, Lego, and many other Fortune 500.

He currently serves as a Board Member of The Channel Islands YMCA. Barrett resides in Santa Barbara, Ca. with his wife where they enjoy hiking, surfing and spending time with their family, friends, and pets.
